As expected, optimism and self-efficacy showed significant negative correlations with depression, anxiety, and stress; and a significant positive relationship with adaptation to university. Furthermore, students’ levels of depression and anxiety had a significant negative correlation with adaptation, and a significant positive relationship with stress.
