The participants also reported improvement in their
affected upper-limb health (i.e., decreased pain, heaviness,and discomfort along with softening of fibrotic areas during
daily household work) due to the exercise program.
Many participants continued doing the exercises even after
completion of the study period. Results showed a trend
toward improved QOL scores in all aspects, including
physical, social, and emotional well-being as well as general
and mental health and vitality scores after the completion
of the prescribed home-based exercise program
