1.1. Statistical Key Figure Maintenance
1.1.1. Summary of Requirement
Statistical Key Figure is used as a tracing factor for internal cost allocation. It helps to specify the portion of allocation process that the sender cost center allocated to the receiver cost center. For PG, statistical key figure represents measuring unit such as percentage or activity unit etc.

No. Activity Description Responsible By Transaction Code
Cost Controller Cost controller raised a notice for the creation, alteration, and deletion of statistical key figure for further processing of cost allocation. In order to create statistical key figures go to step 1, change go to step 2, and delete go to step 3.
1. Create Statistical Key Figure Create statistical key figure master data following the naming convention rule. After statistical key figure master data is created successfully, check if statistical key figure is needed to be maintained in statistical key figure group. If yes, go to step 5 to maintain statistical key figure group else check if statistical key figure needs to be maintained in allocation cycle.
If plan allocation maintenance is required, go to process “31-11 CCA: Maintain Plan Allocation Cycle” or go to process “31-21 CCA: Maintain Actual Allocation Cycle” for the maintenance of CCA actual allocation cycle else inform relevant person for the progress or completeness of statistical key figure maintenance.
Note: The maintenance of plan/actual allocation cycle is described in steps 6-7. Statistical Key Figure Maintaining KK01/KK03
2. Change Statistical Key Figure Change statistical key figure master data following the details specified. After statistical key figure master data is changed successfully, check if statistical key figure is needed to be maintained in statistical key figure group.
Statistical Key Figure Maintaining KK02/KK03
3. Delete Statistical Key Figure In case statistical key figure is free from any business transaction, delete statistical key figure master data to fulfill the request. After it has been deleted, inform the requestor and/or relevant persons for the progress or the completeness of the process. However, the deletion process fails to accomplish if the transaction has already been recorded to it.
Note: The system will prohibit the deletion process if statistical key figure is associated with other dependent record such that it is used in cost element group, report, or undergo allocation process etc. Therefore, the dependent record must be removed before preceding the deletion process. 5. Maintain Statistical Key Figure Group Maintain statistical key figure master data to group statistical key figure as required for reporting or allocation purposes. This step involves the creation, alteration and deletion of statistical key figure group. After statistical key figure group is created successfully, check if statistical key figure group is needed to be maintained in actual/plan allocation cycle. If plan allocation maintenance is required, go to process “31-11 CCA: Maintain Plan Allocation Cycle” or go to process “31-21 CCA: Maintain Actual Allocation Cycle” for the maintenance of CCA actual allocation cycle else inform relevant person for the progress or completeness of statistical key figure.
Note: The maintenance of plan/actual allocation cycle is described in steps 6-9. Statistical Key Figure Maintaining KBH1/KBH2/KBH3
6. 31-11
CCA: Maintain Plan Allocation Cycle For plan cost allocation from one cost center to another, the process of “31-04 Statistical Key Figure Maintenance” triggers the process of “31-11 CCA: Maintain Plan Allocation Cycle”. The changes for allocation based, cost element, sender/receiver cost center etc. can be accomplish at this step.
7. 31-21
CCA: Maintain Actual Allocation Cycle The process of “31-04 Statistical Key Figure Maintenance” triggers the process of “31-21 CCA: Maintain Actual Allocation Cycle”. The changes for allocation based, sender cost center, and receiver cost center etc. can be accomplish at this step.
Inform relevant person Inform the requestor and/or relevant persons for the fulfillment of the request or any changes that take place.
Relevant documents must be kept for auditing purpose.
