Possible interference by metals with the differential pulse
anodic stripping voltammetry of silver was investigated by the
addition of the interfering ion to a solution containing 40 pmol/L
of silver under the optimized conditions with 300 s preconcentration
time. The silver signal diminish in the presence of Zn(II), Na(I) and Mg(II) and increased in the presence of Cd(II), Hg(II), Ni(II),
Pb(II), Fe(III) and Mn(II).
