high-frequency three-phase to three-phase matrix
converter for ac drive applicatlona is presented. The
power stage is designed for a maxiu output power of
2 kVA uslq WXFETs. The switching frequency is
20 LHZ. Space vector modulation technique is used for
control of the mtrlx converter switches. The modulator
is implemented with a digital signal processor. A
standard 3 Hp induction rotor is used as a load. Lowdistortion
sinusoidal input and output currents are
achieved. me input power factor is above 0.99 in the
whole operating range.
