CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER
This is an executive-level position whose occupant is responsible for the commercial strategy and development of the company. The responsibilities for the role will involve activities relating to marketing, sales, product development and customer service to drive business growth and market share.
As a corporate officer position, the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will report directly to the chief executive officer (CEO) and is primarily concerned with ensuring the integrated commercial success of the organisation. The role will require a combination of Direct all company sales and marketing activities. Develop, implement and manage a plan to achieve commercial objectives. Hire and manage a small team of (senior) staff for sales and marketing. Collaborate with product development team to improve product strategy and inform teams of new market needs. The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will lead the organization's strategic management function, in drafting, implementing and evaluating cross-functional decisions that will enable an organization to achieve its long-term objectives.
