The mean weight of individualCLin cows with single ovulations (2.6±0.4 g; n = 11)was
significantly (P < 0.05) higher than in cows with double ovulations (1.3±0.2 g; n = 6). The
total weight of luteal tissue, however, was similar (single 2.6±0.4 g; double 2.5±0.4 g).
There was no difference in the progesterone content of luteal tissue from cows with single
