DPF. Distributed Packet Filtering, or DPF [Park and Lee 2001], proposed
having routers throughout the network maintain incoming direction
knowledge (knowledge of which interface a packet from a given source to a
given destination should arrive on). When a packet with a spoofed source address
arrives at an incorrect interface, the router can detect this and filter the
packet.
