Although these applications require low-costs, the RFID
tags having chips integrated are still relatively expensive to be
widely used without increasing total prices of tagged items.
Therefore, since chipless tags seem to be the promising solution
for a low-cost tagged item, many researchers have been working
on chipless RFID system development. One of the commercially
available chipless tags is developed by RFSAW which
uses surface acoustic waves (SAWs) [1]. However, they cannot
be printed on paper/plastic-based items.
