One of the goals of our department is to produce quality graduates who are trained and prepared to enter the job market. Graduates should have both a solid academic background and an employment readiness suitable for any area of business and well as have the skill to pursue individual entrepreneurial goals. Graduates should possess full array of business skills including, but not limited to, organization, analytical, management, interpersonal and office supply management skills in order to be able to work efficiently in any workplace. Student should be able to identify their desired workplace and the type of work in which they want to engage. Appropriately trained and prepared, the graduates can quickly develop the professional maturity necessary to become valuable resources to their employer and to society as a whole. In order to accomplish this goal, the University needs to train the students to apply their knowledge in the work environment and to give them an opportunity to do so to gain valuable practical experience in an authentic business environment.
Consequently, department of Hospitality and Tourism Industry, Christian University of Thailand has established a policy which will allow the student to work with organization to gain practical experience, apply their knowledge and skill and abstain authentic work experience. Dering this co-operative program, the students ‘advisors will visit the employers to assess and monitor the students’ performant at the work site.
