3.3. Analytical features of the proposed system
The analytical characteristics of the proposed system were
investigated using the operational sequences for SI-monosegmented
flow (Fig. 2(a)) together with the optimum conditions as
described above, the in-line standard calibration in the range of
0.0075–0.625 mg L1 were constructed by plotting of peak height
versus concentration of Al. Fig. 6 shows a series of SI grams
obtained from the in-line standard calibration method. Under the
selected conditions, a linear calibration graph could be obtained
with the calibration equation y = (2.2598 0.0033)x
(0.0023 0.0003), R2 = 0.9997. The limits of detection (3s/s) and
quantification (10s/s) (where s is standard deviation of reagent blank
(n = 11) and s is the slope of calibration curve) for Al were obtained at
0.0020 and 0.0070 mg L1
, respectively. The relative standard
deviations for eleven replicate determinations of 0.010 and
0.025 mg L1 were 1.3 and 0.8%, respectively.
