The significant increase in demand livestock
product in recent years in developing countries
has required increasing and improving the quality
of animal feed supply. Many researchers try to
find strategies to improve nutritive value of byproduct
and local feed such as cassava chip, rice
straw, rice bran, soybean meal, etc. Incorporation
of microbial additives such as a culture of Saccharomyces
cerevisiae and lactic acid bacteria
to the diet has become a common practice in
ruminant nutrition.
