One Piece" chapter 810 is right around the corner. Fans are wondering if we will finally see what happened with Sanji in the upcoming chapter's flashback.
In chapter 809, we saw the King of Night, Duke Nekomamushi make his appearance, slamming the Mammoth Zoan, Jack "The Drought" right on his back. Since Jack reverts back to human form, it's curious to see if he will fight in that form in the next chapter or finally use Caesar Clown's poison gas weapon.
Despite fans knowing the Minks' advantage over Jack, it will be interesting to find out how their fight transitioned to Jack having to use the poison gas. In earlier chapters, we saw Jack torturing some of the Minks, so perhaps we will see him survive battle with the night Minks until the day Minks return.
This week's chapter, like the last few chapters, will bounce between flashback and present time. During present time, we will see Law interact with Duke Nekomamushi. Nekomamushi will then tell his flashback story to Law, the same way Duke Inuarashi did with the Strawhats. After all, the King of Day fell asleep in the last chapter, so who else to tell the story than the King of Night.
With that being said, why did Law and his crew go out of their way to meet with the feisty cat warrior? Since Nekomamushi and Inuarashi hold contempt for each other, could it be that Law is looking to gain a new ally in Nekomamushi? Perhaps this is a part of a new plan that will allow Law and his crew to betray the Strawhats.
This wouldn't be out of reach, and Nico Robin mentioned it before: Pirates have no principals regarding alliances.
