Conformation to SRT re Auditor Report from 15 Oct 2014

PAC writes to confirm to SRT that the four items covered in your letter ref; 1740/TRP5/2557 dated 31st October 2014 in which it is stated that these items are to be accepted before the final payment is made.
We can confirm that these items are now covered under the Defect Liability Period as the Final Completion Certificate has been issued for Track Rehabilitation Phase 5, the Final Payment shall be at the end of the Contract Period which includes the DLP.
Any subsequent adjustment to the Final Payment shall be made at the end of the contract period after the DLP expires and on receipt of an application from the contractor for the “Final Certificate” at which time the “Final Payment” can be made according to the Conditions of Contract Sub- Clause 30.6 “Terms of Payment” (c) “The sum equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price for Works completed and covered by a Defects Liability Period adjusted as aforesaid shall be paid within 45 days after the Final Certificate has been issued in accordance with sub-clause 24.8 hereof”..
PAC will therefore proceed with review of and recommend for SRT to pay the Final Interim Payment number 35.
