Silk Weaving Village Amphoe Na Pho in Buriram
This village is well known for its “mudmee” silk, or tie-dye silk, which integrates intricate traditional geometric and zoomorphic motifs on the fabric. Located in the Na Pho district, it has received support from the Royal Folk Arts and Craft Centre under the royal patronage of HM Queen Sirikit for the development of skills, standardizing production, and retaining traditional patterns and colours. Visitors here can watch the fascinating process of how the silk is made and try their hand at spinning the silk threads. A nice day outing for families and a group of friends.
