Revolutionary Cuba, because it is a socialist and not communist society, still produces leaders and professional and peasants and workers. Given the socialist nature of Cuban society and, therefore, the fact that no one directly lives off the exploitation of the labour of others, the social distinctions between these sectors of the society are more stratifications than social classes. Nevertheless, Che insisted that the relationship between the leadership of the society at all levels and the masses of ordinary people must be a dialogical and dialectical relationship.
