Plantaricin C. sativum, an antimicrobial peptide containing 26 amino acids, isolated from coriander leaf extract exerted antimi- crobial activities against Gram-negative bacteria showing mini- mum inhibitory concentration(MIC)values 71.55 and 86.4 µg/mL, respectively for K. pneumoniae and P. aeruginosa as well as Gram- positive(MIC 35.2 µg/mL for S. aureus) bacteria.
