Cambodia Trip
In the day before going to Cambodia, It seems to me that Cambodia is terrible and dirty country. In my opinion,Cambodia is underdeveloped country. However, when I first landed on there, I was extremely amazed by the peaceful and amazing towns. Cambodia is developing quickly. The streets and the sidewalks for tourists are absolutely clean and are covered by the shadow of the green trees. Moreover, there are a huge number of hotels, resorts are completely investigated and built which are aimed to serve tourism. They are luxurious and amazing to me. We spent 3 days and 2 nights in this trip.
At the day one,We are appointed to get on the tour bus at 6 am. ,and then we started to go to Chong Chom,Surin province at 8 am. By Saengthong Happy tour.In addition,,there are a tour guide accompanying with us. She was really fantastic tourist guide I ever met. Another tour guide who used to study in Buriram Rajabhat University also came along with us. When we first arrived to ChongChom, we stopped at the border gate between Thailand and Cambodia to check our passport by the costums official there, when all the procedures were done, we continued to catch another bus to Siam Reap, Cambodia.
I really enjoyed the bus during my trip. It was very ventilated and was well equipped by air conditioner. Because of the long distance. I felt a bit sleepy and I took a cat nap until the bus reached the destination. Tonle Sap was the first destination that our group stopped by to visit.
Tonle Sap, literally large river (tonle); fresh, not salty (sap), commonly translated to "Great Lake") refers to a seasonally inundated freshwater lake, the Tonlé Sap Lake and an attached river, the 120 km (75 mi) long Tonlé Sap River, that connects the lake to the Mekong. They form the central part of a complex hydrological system, situated in the 12,876 km2 (4,971 sq mi) Cambodian floodplain covered with a mosaic of natural and agricultural habitats that the Mekong replenishes with water and sediments annually. The central plain formation is the result of millions of years of Mekong alluvial deposition and discharge. From a geological perspective, the Tonlé Sap Lake and Tonlé Sap River are a current freeze-frame representation of the slowly, but ever shifting Lower Mekong Basin. Annual fluctuation of the Mekong's water volume, supplemented by the Asian Monsoon regime causes the unique flow reversal of the Tonle Sap River.
Next place ,We went to The Jeg’s Statue and Jom’s statue. It is so very beautiful and worshipful place. The history of Jeg’s statue and Jom’s statue. The Jeg’s statue and Jom’s statue are brothers. And have faith in Buddhism dramatically. One day after a donation back to sleep and not wake up again.Parents are grieving and mourning with two daughters very much.He has built up two revered Buddha. The big name of the object. The smaller one, called the Vandals.Buddha is priceless brothers.then we are went to made Angkor pass card its very quick because that time haven’t a lot of people .After done it,we are went to have dinner together in Tonle Kong, the foods is very good because it’s made me full.
Day two,we woke up and had breakfast in the Suvan Marea Hotel, and then head to Bayon castle, The Bayon castle is a well-known and richly decorated Khmer temple at Angkor in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th or early 13th century as the official state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist King Jayavarman VII, the Bayon stands at the centre of Jayavarman's capital, Angkor Thom. Following Jayavarman's death, it was modified and augmented by later Hindu and Theravada Buddhist kings in accordance with their own religious preferences.
The Bayon's most distinctive feature is the multitude of serene and massive stone faces on the many towers which jut out from the upper terrace and cluster around its central peak. The temple is known also for two impressive sets of bas-reliefs, which present an unusual combination of mythological, historical, and mundane scenes. The current main conservatory body, the Japanese Government Team for the Safeguarding of Angkor (the JSA) has described the temple as "the most striking expression of the baroque style" of Khmer architecture, as contrasted with the classical style of Angkor Wat.As I see it,I think it’s attractive place this one.I’m very regret because forgot to try knock my chest because when knock then loud voice,it’s amazing and wonderful.Next to Another place, Ta Prohm castle is the modern name of the temple at Angkor, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, built in the Bayon style largely in the late 12th and early 13th centuries and originally called Rajavihara . Located approximately one kilometre east of Angkor Thom and on the southern edge of the East Baray, it was founded by the Khmer King Jayavarman VII as a Mahayana Buddhist monastery and university. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Ta Prohm has been left in much the same condition in which it was found: the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of Angkor's most popular temples with visitors. UNESCO inscribed Ta Prohm on the World Heritage List in 1992. Nowaday, it is one of the most visited complexes in Cambodia’s Angkor region. The conservation and restoration of Ta Prohm is a partnership project of the Archaeological Survey of India and the APSARA (Authority for the Protection and Management of Angkor and the Region of Siem Reap).
Then we went a head to another area that is Banteay Srei or Banteay Srey is a 10th-century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Located in the area of Angkor in Cambodia. It lies near the hill of Phnom Dei, 25 km (16 mi) north-east of the main group of temples that once belonged to the medieval capitals of Yasodharapura and Angkor Thom. Banteay Srei is built largely of red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to the elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still observable today. The buildings themselves are miniature in scale, unusually so when measured by the standards of Angkorian construction. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a "precious gem", or the "jewel of Khmer art. From my mind, Banteay Srei is very graceful and be artistic. So impress!,Move to the most popular in Cambodia and important when you are here that you will feeling in surprisingly and very impress it ,I can’t explain it out. That is Angkor Wat or "Capital Temple" is a temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world. It was originally constructed as a Hindu temple for the Khmer Empire, gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century. It was built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century in Yaśodharapura, the capital of the Khmer Empire, as his state temple and eventual mausoleum. Breaking from the Shaiva tradition of previous kings, Angkor Wat was instead dedicated to Vishnu. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious center since its foundation. The temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. It has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag, and it is the country's prime attraction for visitors
Angkor Wat combines two basic plans of Khmer temple architecture: the temple-mountain and the later galleried temple. It is designed to represent Mount Meru, home of the devas in Hindu mythology: within a moat and an outer wall 3.6 kilometres (2.2 mi) long are three rectangular galleries, each raised above the next. At the centre of the temple stands a quincunx of towers. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Angkor Wat is oriented to the west; scholars are divided as to the significance of this. The temple is admired for the grandeur and harmony of the architecture, its extensive bas-reliefs, and for the numerous devatas adorning its walls. The modern name, Angkor Wat, means "Temple City" or "City of Temples" in Khmer; Angkor, meaning "city" or "capital city", is a vernacular form of the word Ankor, which comes from the Sanskrit word Nagara Wat is the Khmer word for "temple grounds".This place is the best in my heart it be worth. Moreover,in evening we are going to have dinner together in Tonle Sap and see the Apsara’s show and addition in the dark night we are going to walking street ,night club its very excited and very fun in that night.
Day three, Have breakfast already and went to The new temple, or Wat Mai This measure is included bone The skull of the deceased Khmer. From the hands of the Khmer Rouge Occurred in the Khmer Rouge Pol. The leader of the Khmer Rouge regime and was used as a meeting. And executed the Cambodian genocide in the war.And the last,we are come back home and happy so much not forget Cambodia.I will remember forever.
