2.7.7 STANDBY Mode
When the computer is in STANDBY mode, the display and various internal devices (those not required to return to RUN mode) are turned off, and the processor is stopped. The computer will automatically return to RUN mode whenever any activity is detected (i.e., depressing a key, or an I/O event). The SETUP utility can be used to specify when the computer should switch to STANDBY mode.
2.7.8 OFF Mode
In OFF mode, only the real time clock, configuration memory, and the microcontroller receive power. The OFF mode can be entered any time by depressing and holding the key while the ON/OFF key is depressed. The RUN mode can be resumed anytime by depressing either the ON/OFF key or the SUSPEND key; this reboots the system.
