10.1.2 Main advantages/disadvantages of CIP
CIP has been widely applied in dairy, brewery, food and wine processing
for more than 50 years, because food manufacturers quickly realized that
CIP is, overall, more advantageous (compare Tables 10.1 and 10.2 ) (Christi,
1999 ; Majoor, 2003 ; Moerman, 2003 ).
