Inspired by the serendipitous discovery that my grandfather, a man I never knew, shared the same passion for fine leather craftsmanship, we built this business based on the qualities from generations past. Character, Authenticity and Timelessness resonate in every business decision, every design, every relationship we have.
2. Over the last several decades mass production has become the norm. Quantity is valued over quality, and products over people. Our goods are crafted, not produced, and we value traditions over trends. We've taken old-world styles and made them relevant. Today's consumer wants more than a label. They want an experience; they want to be part of a story. We've gone back to the footwear masters of Italy and proven traditionally made, handcrafted Italian footwear can still be a viable business.
3. We're not the type of brand to market our philanthropic efforts. We're simply grateful to have the opportunity to take part in building a fruitful and healthy community. We have a saying here: "Ti Voglio Bene." It literally means "We want you to be well" in Italian. It's a self-less wishregardless of our standpoint or position, we want you to be well. Through our Ti Voglio Bene campaign, which ran during Christmastime, we focused our marketing outreach around a few of our favorite charities to help spread their messages. We also gave a percentage of sales during that time to each of the organizations. When marketing efforts are based solely on your business, the message fails to cultivate a spirit of fellowship. We've found applying the focus on positive, constructive projects continues to spread the spirit of kindness and generosity. Giving is more than just writing check. Giving back is a journey, a way of life.
