In hindsight, most would agree that the Tucker Torpedo auto was far safer and more innovative than any General Motors or Ford model of 1948; the Betamax was a superior technology in the 1970s to the VHS video player; and the 1984 Macintosh operating system was much easier to use and vastly more reliable than Microsoft's MS-DOS (which was based on QDOS, an acronym meaning "Quick and Dirty Operating System."
