It is a day of religious significance occurring annually on the day of the third full moon of the lunar calendar. This important Buddhist holy day marked the occasion of the spontaneous congregation of Lord Buddha's 1250 disciples. The occasion prompted "Jaturongkasannibat". And all the disciples had been ordained by Lord Buddha. On this important day, Thai people will offer food to monk and make merit in the morning. Then in the evening they will go to the temple nearby to attend the "Wien Thian Ceremony". They will follow a senior monk, walking clockwise three times in a long procession with flowers, light incense sticks and candles between their palms. On the last round, they place the flowers, incense sticks and candles on the altar in front of the Buddha image.
