Bangkok Tour Guide Speech
Hello everyone. My name is Ratirat Sooksubtawee, you can call me Cookie. On behalf of Thai Royal Tours I’d like to welcome you all to Bangkok. The bus ride to Wat Phra Kaew will take about ten minutes. Right now I'd like to take a minute to familiarize you with the area and discuss some brief safety precautions. Firstly, I ask that you remain seated until we reach our destination.
Now I'd like to tell some brief history of Bangkok for you. Bangkok is capital of Thailand. It was a historical miracle during time of turmoil. In the past capital of Thailand is Thonburi, on the western bank of Mae Nam Chao Phra Ya (Mae Nam is means River) and Next King Rama I, who was moved the capital across the river. Now, is here, so, as you will see Thonburi on the right hand across the Chao Pra Ya River.
Bangkok is as intoxicating as it is diverse; a melting pot of exotic aromas, interesting sights and visual delights. It's a city with infinite layers which you need to explore to reveal its hidden secrets. So, we are going to explore Bangkok together.
We start to explore first place is Wat Phra Kaew. It is The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, it located in the Grand Palace is an important Buddhist temple in Thailand which is famous for the highly revered Emerald Buddha image, the world's longest murals and numerous interesting sculptures such as fanciful mythical animals and fierce-looking giants standing guard at the gates.
