Police were looking for two suspects in connection with explosions at Siam Paragon shopping mall in central Bangkok at the weekend, an official said on Tuesday.Two male suspects, wearing white shirts, were seen on CCTV lingering near the scene of the bombings moments before the blasts.
Police circulated the footage and asked the public for any leads that could lead to arrests, a police source who declined to be named said.
Two small bombs exploded at the Siam Paragon shopping mall in central Bangkok late Sunday.
The homemade explosives were planted behind a power transformer at the entrance to the mall on the corridor connecting to the elevated mass transit rail system.
No casualties were reported.
The army chief on Monday denied rumours that the military played a role in the bombings to continue martial law.
"The government does not do things like this. We carry things out honestly to avoid situations," Gen Udomdej Sitabutr said.
Bangkok has been under martial law since a coup in May. Political gatherings have been banned as a result.
The military has detained dissidents and cracked down on dissent through military courts and arrests.
