Total Body Balancing
Except in those few who are able to use their left side and right side equally, its common to find that one side of the body will have features that are more prominent from overuse. Certain muscles will be strengthened to cope with additional requirements, while other muscles will be looser and more flexible. Frequent routine activities, such as working and exercising in repetitive ways can contribute to misalignment of structure.
Total Body Balancing is a total body evaluation and treatment approach using Tuina principle, body re-patterning, myo-fascial release and spinal release to relax the muscles, fascia, joints and ligaments to improve circulation, nerve and energy flow. This helps to normalizing sympathetic and parasympathetic activity creating a new homeodynamic state for muscle balance. The technique includes rhythmic compression along energy channels of the body, as well as a variety of techniques that manipulate and lubricate the joints. Following this kinesiology techniques for arm and leg re-patterning will be done, combine with gentle traction techniques to relax tense joints.
Kinesthetic Assessment
Kinesthetic Assessment is a physical assessment diagnosis through unique muscle testing skill to find muscle imbalances, joint problems, spine alignment and movement.
Our physiotherapists view your body’s ability to function as a balance between many physiological states and mechanisms. These can be functionally grouped as posture, flexibility, stability, coordination and muscular tone and performance. Each of these contributes to the overall function and ability of your body.
At the end of assessment, you will receive a written report, and specific advice on how to correct imbalances.
