9. A draft Strategic Regional Partner model is proposed (refer Appendix 3 - Draft Strategic Regional Partner Model), together with a detailed comparison against the extant RO and AG policy framework. Key characteristics of the draft SRP model include:
• A greater degree of gradation and flexibility achieved through having one clear policy regarding minimum SRP criteria, and establishing more specific objectives, obligations, and processes, for collaboration with IFAC’s SRPs customized to the circumstances and context of each organization/region (as compared to the extant model which determines all of these matters within either of two streams).
• A refined framework for systematic engagement, in order to reflect and enable where engagement between IFAC staff and volunteers, and SRPs is already working well and where it could work better.
• More current, strategy focused systematic interactions in place of the current compliance based historical reporting.
• Updated internal IFAC processes and communication.
