figure. Note again that the risetimes and the half widths of the
induced voltages calculated by simulating ground effects by
a constant resistance differ from those calculated without this
approximation. The effect of this assumption on the derivatives
of the induced voltages is even more significant. For example,
the derivatives of the waveforms in Fig. 7 are shown in Fig. 8.
Note that the constant resistance required to obtain agreement
between the peaks of the induced voltages may over-estimate
the derivative by about a factor two.
