s you all may be aware, identifying Core values is not enough because the established Core Values will become "meaningless" if we fail to live them in day-to-day actions. To cultivate the understanding of our Core Values, we need to
1) Identify the misalignment and
2) Create new alignment
To start aligning Core Values throughout the organization and get employee involvement, we shall appoint some teams to work on finding misalignment and creating the new alignment. Selected people will be invited to a kick-off meeting in the morning of November 24 (Thursday) to embark on this project. The Meeting Notice will be sent shortly.
To identify misalignment, we recommend you also start by conducting an in-depth analysis of existing practices, processes, procedures, policies, systems or structures in daily tasks that are incompatible with our Core Values. You should then come up with the recommendations on how to fix the misalignment. Finding misalignment also allows you to determine/create the new alignment such as new policies, procedure, practices or systems that align with the Meyer Core Values. In addition, the process of identifying misalignment and creating new alignment is also a good opportunity for your department to increase efficiency/effectiveness as well as employee engagement by involving your staff in this process.
When you are ready with your ideas, suggestions or project proposals regarding Core Values Alignments of your own department, you are welcomed to discuss with your direct superior (Khun Bruce, Khun Joseph or Vincent). Upon their approval, you can start implementation and it is your responsibility to ensure that all projects/initiatives you proposed are to be completed within the timeline.
