2.1. Plant material
Banana fruits (Musa spp., AAA group cv. ‘Brazil’) with 70%–80%
maturity were harvested in Hainan province and transported to the
laboratory at Zhejiang University immediately. The banana fruits
were separated into fingers, sorted to eliminate disease or mechanical
damages, and selected for uniform size and color. Finally, 300
fingers were divided randomly into to two groups. Each group
contained three replicates of 50.
