(d) He, his spouse and other essential family members cannot submit another application to purchase a resale flat, rent a flat, take over the lease or tenancy, or be included as a family member of another flat, a Design, Build and Sell Scheme flat or an Executive Condominium during the 5-year minimum occupation period.
(e) He, his spouse and other essential family members cannot invest in private residential property, in Singapore or overseas, during the 5-year minimum occupation period.
(f) If the applicant sublets the whole of the said flat, the period of subletting will not be included in computing the 5-year minimum occupation period or the 5-year period mentioned in clause (c) above. The HDB shall have the sole discretion to determine the computation of the relevant period.
(g) He, his spouse and other essential family members have to comply with the conditions and policies applicable to direct purchase flats, for transfer of flats, and for the Conversion Scheme.
11. The recipient of the CPF Housing Grant for Family or the Half-Housing Grant (“recipient”) and his spouse will be considered as having enjoyed a housing subsidy.
The recipient and his spouse will have to pay a resale levy if they buy or take over the ownership of another subsidised flat, or an Executive Condominium sold by a Developer, or an Executive Condominium with outstanding 5-year minimum occupation period. They need not pay the resale levy if the Executive Condominium project was from a land sale launched before 9 December 2013. The payment of the resale levy is based on the prevailing rules, policies and procedures as determined by HDB from time to time. The recipient of the Half-Housing Grant and his spouse/fiancée will be liable for their respective resale levy.
12. With reference to clause 8(d) above, the husband and wife who receive the CPF Housing Grant for Family and their unmarried child who receives the Additional CPF Housing Grant will not be eligible to receive another Additional CPF Housing Grant when they purchase their next flat. 13. With reference to clause 8(a) (i) above, the Singapore Citizen child or parents whose inclusion in the application for the purchase of the said flat allows the family to be classified as an SC/SC Household must remain as the co-owner or occupier of the said flat for a minimum 5-year period commencing from the effective date of sale of the said flat.

14 If the marriage of the recipient and his spouse (who is either a co-applicant or an essential family member) is subsequently annulled, the CPF Housing Grant for Family, Half-Housing Grant and Additional CPF Housing Grant, where applicable, with interest must be repaid to the HDB. In addition, the HDB may require the said flat to be surrendered to the HDB based on HDB’s prevailing rules, regulations and policies.
The interest payable is computed based on what the CPF Housing Grant for Family, Half-Housing Grant and Additional CPF Housing Grant, where applicable, would have earned in the CPF ordinary account from the date the CPF Housing Grant for Family, Half-Housing Grant and Additional CPF Housing Grant, where applicable, was disbursed to the end of the month in which payment is made.
Any outstanding amount will be treated as a debt owed by the recipient and his spouse (even if the spouse is not a co-applicant) to the Government. The recipient and his spouse will be debarred from buying another HDB flat until they settle the amount outstanding.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
15. In the event that the applicant/recipient, co-applicant/recipient or any family members listed in the application:-
(a) breach any of the Terms and Conditions of the Grant;
(b) make any false declaration for the purpose of obtaining the CPF Housing Grant for Family or the Half-Housing Grant or the Additional CPF Housing Grant or purchasing the said flat;
(c) give any false information or suppress information in the Application Form for the purchase of the said flat or in the application for the CPF Housing Grant for Family or the Half-Housing Grant or the Additional CPF Housing Grant or in any other written forms/undertakings;
(d) become ineligible to purchase or retain the said flat;
(e) become or render himself ineligible for the CPF Housing Grant for Family or the Half-Housing Grant or the Additional CPF Housing Grant; or
(f) are not eligible for the CPF Housing Grant for Family or the Half-Housing Grant or the Additional CPF Housing Grant,
the HDB may cancel the application and/or compulsorily acquire the said flat and recover the CPF Housing Grant for Family or the Half-Housing Grant and/or the Additional CPF Housing Grant, where applicable, with interest at such rate as the HDB may determine from time to time.
16. HDB has the right to recover the CPF Housing Grant for Family or the Half-Housing Grant and/or the Additional CPF Housing Grant, where applicable, with interest if the said flat or any inter
