What ethical responsibility does a company have to keep tabs on software being used by employees? Is it ethical for an employee to install an additional copy of personal software on a work computer to demonstrate the software to the boss? Is it ethical for an employee to install software on more computers than the company has paid for if ordered to do so by management? Would it be acceptable to install additional copies of the software if "most of the time" no more than the licensed number of users would be using the software?
