In the focus of the elaborated document template the formulation of the requirement cause, the requirement description, the requirement relationships and the definition of the priority of the respective requirement are located. It is important to document these characteristics in natural language to increase the general comprehensibility of requirements and thus to improve the exchange of information between the stakeholders or disciplines involved. In order to contain possible errors [28], requirements templates are used at this point which enable the user to create qualitative and standardized requirements. On the one hand they are easy to understand and on the other hand they are simple to parameterize due to their structure. As a result, product configurations can be easily mapped and transferability is increased [29].
