The petroleum ether soluble part (33.0 g) was subjected to CC (SiO2, 200–300 mesh, 8 × 70 cm; petroleum ether–AcOEt 100:0–0:100) to yield 15 fractions (Frs.1–15). Fr.3 (8.61 g) was subjected to repeated AgNO3 CC (SiO2, 200–300 mesh, 98 g; petroleum ether–AcOEt 100:0–0:100) to yield 4 (29 mg); Frs. 6–8 were subjected to RP-CC (MeOH–water 3:7–10:0) and provided 5 fractions (Frs.6–8-RP1-5).
