At 5◦C period, live sperm percentage was greater(P ≤ 0.01) in the T2 group (75.63 ± 3.09%) compared with either the T1 (58.43 ± 0.89%) or T3 groups (66.23 ± 1.29%;Table 2). At the 48 h and at 1, 2 and 3 months PC, the live sperm percentage in the T2 and T3 groups was greater(P ≤ 0.01) than the T1 group, and the T2 group had numer-ically greater values than that T3 group (Table 2). There were no differences in live sperm percentage at all preser-vation periods for both the T2 and T3 groups, while a lesser(P ≤ 0.01) percentage was detected at 48 h and at 1, 2, and 3 months PC in T1 group (Table 2).
