Dear Team, I know there are many rumours at the moment about me and the company, and while we are waiting for news of the arrival of funds, I wanted to respond to the those that I have heard. I know your trust in what I say is low at the moment, due to this seemingly endless process, but all I can do is tell you what I know. I have heard people are worried that I will run away from the current problems. It is true that I would like to spend Christmas and New Year with my family in England, as I do every year. I was scheduled to leave this evening, but that is clearly not the right thing to do. I postponed my flight and I’m not leaving Thailand until I have clear evidence that we have money in our UK bank. When the money is in the LQID UK account it is in our control and I can be sure you will all finally receive the salary owed to you. I have rescheduled my flight and I hope to be able to go back to the UK for a short visit on the evening of 24th of December. I will return to Thailand at the start of January to kick start the rebuild of LQID. Why should you believe me? That’s up to you. But I could have run away long ago. I haven’t. As I have said before, my first objective is that you all get paid what you are owed – and this point the fastest way is to push for the investment process completion. As well as salaries, tax and social security, there are other costs of running the business. AWS, Microsoft, etc. These all have to be paid too, and I am committed to making sure every bill is paid. The whole process has been very hard, and I know we have had many times where it seems it have finished, only to have another set-back. I can’t apologise enough for what you have been going through. I am close to many of you. I have worked with some of you for many years. And I do not want to let any of you down.
