The flowchart is the simple
representation of the useful information by
steps through the symbolic diagram with
the direction of flow control on the
problem from task to task. The flowchart
diagram is represented through the
standard symbols: the rectangular symbol
presents a computation process, the
diamond symbol presents a decision
process, and the parallelogram symbol
shows the input and output processes. All
boxes are connected by the directed lines
to control the ordering of the processes
(see Figure 2.1 and Figure 2.2) 1

Each flowchart diagram has only
one-entry (start) and one-exit (stop) using
the terminal symbol that grouped together
with the boxes (input/output, computation,
and decision) and direction lines. Moreover,
a small circle (connector symbol) is used to
connect two flow lines into single flowchart
diagram
