Server Power-Up process for all CAMSTAR Servers
Synopsis: The following outlines the steps to power up the equipment and servers associated to the Camstar system (Production and Test) in AMTC. It is intended as a checklist in support of rendering the system fully operational after having been completely shut down.
1. Power on both Equilogic Production arrays (both power supplies in each unit).
2. Power on both (MD1200) Test arrays (both power supplies in each unit).
**IMPORTANT**: Wait 5 minutes before powering up the next servers. This is to allow the arrays (steps 1 through 2) to load properly.
3. Primary (DB1) Production Database Servers
a. AMTCCAMPRDDB1
b. AMTCCAMPRDODB1
**IMPORTANT**: Before powering on the DB2 server, please make sure that both the DB1 servers (AMTCCAMPRDDB1 and ODB1) are fully up, running, and operational. Do this by logging into AMTCCAMPRDDB1 and validate the DB’s through the cluster manager.
4. Secondary (DB2) Production Database Servers

**IMPORTANT**: Verify the servers are up and operational by logging into AMTCCAMPRDDB2 and opening the cluster manager and visually verify the manager recognizes the DB1 servers appropriately.
5. Production Application servers

3. Insite Server – wait until memory allocation approx. 800kb
4. World Wide Web Publishing Services
ii. Verify server is active on NLB Manager

i. Verify Services (start services in following order if not started automatically)

3. Insite Server – wait until memory allocation approx. 800kb

ii. Verify server is active on NLB Manager

i. Verify Services (start services in following order if not started automatically)

ii. AMTCCAMAPRD3 should NOT be made active on the NLB. This server acts as a modeling server and is only used for shop floor transactions as a backup to 1 and 2.
**IMPORTANT**: The Production instance is designed to run only one Integration server at any time. DO NOT start up the integration services on both integration servers at any one time. Also, the below integration servers and services should not be started before the Database servers are up and verified operational (steps 4 and 5 above).
