MRI LUMBOSACRAL SPINE AND MRI T-L SPINE
History : A case of falling with lower extremity weakness.
Findings: The study shows compression fracture of T12 vertebral body with posterior bulging, causing moderate spinal stenosis, together with compressing spinal cord with myelopathy of this level
Lumbar spondylosis with marginal osteophytes noted . Modic type L endplate degenerations at superior L2 and L4 vertebral endplates are detected. Decreased T 2w intensity of L1/2 and L5/S1 intervertebral discs in noted , vepresentiny degenerative. Disc changl .Mild L3/4 disc bulding is noted, causing bilateral moderate neural moderate neural foraminal narrowing.Circumferential disc
Bulging with marginal osteophytes and bilateral hypertrophic facet joints of L4/5 level is noted, causing bilateral moderate neural foraminal
Narrowing ,todether with abutting both exiting herve roots. Ruptured annular tear with central disc protrusion and bilateral hypertrophic facet joints of L5/S1 level is observed causing mild spinal stenosis and bilat ral severe neural foraminal narrowing, together with stretching both exiting and abutting left traversing neve roots.
The rest of spinal eord reveals normal size and SI. The conus medullaris is located at L1 level is noted. The filum terminale and canda equina appear normal. Paraspinal muscle are within normal limits.
