The 20 pound note is violet, Queen Elizabeth II and St James Concert Hall, St Peter Port on the front and Vale Castle and St Sampson's Church on the back. The monarch is depicted on banknotes issued by the Crown dependencies and on some of those issued by overseas territories. Moreover the £20 note was created for the 100th birthday of Queen Elizabeth

On the right side of the £20 banknote is the greatest Queen Elizabeth II of England .Queen Elizabeth ll is the first monarch to have her portrait printed on a bank note. It was first done in 1960 as a way of helping to prevent forgeries. And the £20 note, with a profile of Adam Smith on the back, is the second highest denomination note in value and the second largest in size (approx. 149mm x 80mm).
