When addressing supply management from a logistics service
provider perspective as done in the article, a number of important
complementarities are highlighted; the mediating nature of networks
and the industrial network emphasis on systematic resource combining
and systematic networking. As stated in the article, research
considering different kinds of logistical and network set ups, and
which acknowledge multiple perspectives on idea structures and
associated activated supply structures, may contribute to our
understanding of how logistics actors add value to their clients. This
article adds a piece to these multiple perspectives.
