The proposed methods use MCS and FL to introduce
uncertainties into harmonic analysis of radial and weakly
meshed distribution systems. The proposed methods are
tested on IEEE 33-bus test system. The method that
combines MCS and FN increases the number of events that
are considered and better models the uncertainties. This
way the FL introduces the uncertainties into MCS and good
features of both methods are merged. This allows the
operator to specify a range of uncertain data rather than
crisp data in which the operator does not have complete
confidence.
The proposed technique can be used for optimal designing
and placing of DG, based on actual measurements. It can also
be used for finding the possible effects of DG on power
quality in distribution network. Validation of the combined
method is tested on IEEE 33-bus system with DG. The
method indicates a large number of cases and results which
may occur in the system, depending on the consumption
and DG.
