SSAT
Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) is the required admission test at many of the best independent schools in the world. This test is one important step on the path to an independent school education. The SSAT is designed for students in grades 3 through PG and is administered on three levels (Elementary, Middle, and Upper). The SSAT is designed for students who are seeking entrance to independent schools worldwide. The purpose of the SSAT is to measure the basic verbal, quantitative, and reading skills students develop over time
TFU provides tutorials for the three constructs in SSAT: verbal, quantitative, and reading skills, and TFU trains students to increase their critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are essential for academic success.
SAT
SAT is the nation's most widely used admissions test among colleges and universities. It tests students' knowledge of subjects that are necessary for college success: reading, writing, and mathematics. The SAT assesses the critical thinking skills students need for academic success in college—skills that students learned in high school. The SAT is typically taken by high school juniors and seniors. It tells students how well they use the skills and knowledge they have attained in and outside of the classroom—including how they think, solve problems, and communicate. The SAT is an important resource for colleges. It's also one of the best predictors of how well students will do in college.
Since SAT is becoming one of the most important standardized tests, College Board tries it best to redesign the test to fit to the need of students and colleges. Therefore, in 2016, the redesigned SAT is in store. Scoring, organization, essay, contents, and essay are transformed to gauge students to be prepared for university studies. Of course, without SAT specialists, students find it hard to tackle SAT. Techniques, planning, and practicing are suggested when students aim for high score in SAT.
ACT
The American College Test (ACT) is a national college admissions examination that consists of subject area tests in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. The ACT Plus Writing includes the four subject area tests plus a 30-minute Writing Test. ACT results are accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the US. The ACT includes 215 multiple-choice questions and takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete, including a short break (or just over four hours if you are taking the ACT Plus Writing). Actual testing time is 2 hours and 55 minutes (plus 30 minutes if you are taking the ACT Plus Writing).
ACT is now accepted in Thailand; however, few students know about ACT as SAT is more popular among Thai students. ACT score can be submitted instead of SAT score in USA and in other countries. ACT test takers should be prepared for ACT by locating the right tutor.
IELTS
International Language Test System (IELTS) is the most popular standardized test among high school and college students. IELTS is widely accepted by universities around the globe because the test assesses four skills, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students prefer IELTS because of its frequent test schedules and reasonable test fee (6,300 Baht). Moreover, it takes only 13 days to receive the test result, and students can retake IELTS as often as they wish. Below is some of the most important information students should know about IELTS:
Section Duration Score Admitted
