We saw a hint of Aarav-Arundhati’s chemistry, which is quite pleasant. The romantic sequences were filmed in 90s style with countless diyas, dupattas and dance steps. It reminded me of the good old days. There was also a hint of black magic with Tanvi releasing a bat at the venue where the gal’s haldi was taking place. Someone please leave the poor animals alone. Vatsal is competent but Ishita goes a little over the top. The supporting cast is just about adequate as are the production values. Though there’s a hint of mystery, the narration fails to build it up. Viewers can only guess about a few things – Is Aarav an abusive man? Why is Arundhati the target of such hatred? Why does Tanvi want revenge from the innocent girl? If the makers manage to sustain the mystery well, the show might stand a decent chance.
