Collaboration with a counterpart is not applicable within Telesales as the output from the role is to qualify potential customers.
The following Collaboration guidelines are applicable to the following sales positions:
•TNT Telesales: Telemarketing calls
•FedEx: No equivalent position exists
What do I need to do?
Continue to do what you currently do, all your current activity remains the same.
What to Say in Front of the Customer
During your telemarketing call, confirm if the customer uses FedEx. If they do identify if any other opportunities exist outside of the FedEx business and if yes qualify as normal. If no thank them for their business.
If during your call you identify an opportunity that TNT are not able to satisfy but FedEx potentially can, share the details with your manager who will pass on to their FedEx counterpart.
