I do think this meeting was needed but the way you handle it was not the good one.
When you have to talk to the Front office staff or any other department, it is not appropriate to just pop up at the reception and make a meeting. If we take the example of yesterday, next time you will have an issue with the restaurant, will you come and sit with all the team in the restaurant in front of the guests??
Secondly, when you have this meetings, you should inform the management and not just come and organize by yourself. Neither me and Emma were informed about this, which is for me, not acceptable at all.
Lastly, when it comes to the front office team, it is for me the less productive department of this resort. They are not happy because since 2 months we push them to work and stop sitting around not doing a lot…
Yesterday the meeting was important, but for me without any big meanings, they just wanted to say that Ann was pushing them too hard to do their job….
For me the 2 team things does not stand, the Bee team and the Emma team is something completely wrong, for me there is one team, or no team at all…. I hope they do no expect me to change my way of handling the reception upstair.
