Samples were freeze-dried and finely milled. Mushroom powder (0.20 g) was extracted by stirring with methanol (2 ml) at 65 °C for 24 h. Then, the mixture was centrifugated at 3000 rpm for 10 min. The residue was re-extracted twice and the methanolic extracts were combined and evaporated to dryness under vacuum. Samples were redissolved in methanol and filtered through a 0.20 μm disposable LC filter disk prior to HPLC analysis.
