In this study, a chemical reduction process was attempted
to prepare Cu2Sb alloy powders. Nano-scale Cu2Sb powders
were prepared by reducing an aqueous solution containing Cu()
and Sb() salts with KBH4 in the presence of sodium citrate as
a complexant. The structure, the morphology, and the electrochemical
performance of as-prepared Cu2Sb powders have been
investigated. As-prepared nano-scale Cu2Sb alloy presented a
stable cycling performance. The chemical reduction process
presents potential advantages for cost-effective mass production
over high-energy ball milling
