The detailed schematic structure
of the unwinding machine is shown in Fig. 5. The fine gold wire passes through
the first fixed roller, a moving dancer roller, and the second
fixed roller. The variation of the dancer roller position
represents the tension variation due
to the wire speed difference between the system A and B.
A potentionmeter is attached to the dancer roller to detect the position of the
dancer roller axis. The value of potentionmeter is voltage and
is sent to controller to convert it as the positional value of the
dancer roller axis. Designed values for the distance between
two fixed rollers and the distance between the axes of the
fixed rollers and dancer roller
are 60 mm. and 100 mm. respectively.
