Core responsibilities:
• Provides analytical support for procurement of assigned items.
• Assists with the development of supply recommendations.
• Take part in negotiations with suppliers to assure the established quality standards and volumes are met.
• Order following up including delivery and transportation
• Payment process coordination
• Coordinate and lead Supplier Development activities for designated new suppliers of trim parts materials or subcontracted processes
• Identify potential sources of supply or subcontracted processes and evaluate value
• Work together with SQE to ensure Supplier comply with EO quality standards, perform necessary product testing, and obtain approval.
• Update supplier development program requirements and documentation.
• Support program launches when new sources of trim parts material or subcontracted processes are involved.
• Initiate corrective action as required to ensure the program timing is met.
• Support trim parts localization program to meet customer specification within timing
• Keeps updated on the competitiveness of current and potential suppliers
Qualifications:
• College or above with major in Business Administration or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Good Negotiation skills and quick-learner
• Strong organizational ability allowing the incumbent to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Assertiveness in proactively handling internal customer requests and service needs, cooperate with other department
• Good interpersonal, and team building skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with staff, departmental representatives, management and suppliers
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Minimum two years’ experience in MRO/ packaging and trim parts purchasing
• Working knowledge of import and export process.
